Mental Health

    Regular therapy can help you learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations. Sessions will assist you to understand yourself better, work through past trauma and develop constructive coping skills.

  • (80 mins)

    Couples therapy can include friends, co-workers, romantic partners, new couples, married and unmarried couples and several other types of relationships. Our therapists are familiar with non-monogamy and polyamorous relationships are welcome.

  • (60 mins)

    Many mental health conditions are very treatable when treatment begins early, let us know if you think a child therapy session might be helpful for your child. We can discuss a range of topics, including but not exclusive to: Social media addiction, bullying, school refusal, neurodivergence, impacts of family separation, body image, low self esteem, healthy relationships, substance use, disordered eating and self harm.

Physical Health

  • If you’ve been putting off investigating your health concerns, a HACP may be a good first step. These sessions can be helpful if you get overwhelmed navigating the healthcare system, or if you’re unsure whether your symptoms are ‘real’ or just in your head. We can assess your current health status and direct you to the GP or other health professional who is best suited for you. HACP sessions are especially useful for those who have had negative or discriminatory experiences with health professionals in the past.

  • We make appropriate referrals to likeminded GPs and other professionals, who’s services are tailored to the needs of the queer community. These are a mix of private and public services, most of which we have directly visited and evaluated ourselves.

  • At the moment we only offer PCR testing, this can be for a range of different respiratory viruses, including Covid19.

Alternative Therapies

  • Red Light Therapy is a non-invasive, low-level light treatment that uses low-level red and near-infrared technology to stimulate cells and support healing. Popular uses include skin health (reducing wrinkles, fine lines and acne), as well as chronic pain relief, and muscle recovery. It may also help to stimulate cell function, improve energy production in mitochondria, reduce inflammation, and aid tissue repair.

  • Neuromodulation is a targeted and non-invasive therapy used to treat pain. It alters nerve activity by using electrical stimulation, leading to reduced perception of pain, without medication. It has also been widely effective in treating chronic migraines.

  • Often used by those wanting to relieve sore muscles, decrease inflammation, increase attention and focus, improve circulation and better their sleep.

    $45 per session

  • Mineral baths are often used by those wanting to relax and improve sleep, skin health, lower blood pressure and reduce pain and inflammation.

    $40 per session

  • Somatic experiencing is a form of alternative therapy aimed at treating trauma and stress-related disorders, such as post-traumatic stress disorder. This is done by attempting to connect the mind through the body, using a variety of physical treatments and exercises.

Life Admin

  • (60-90 mins)

    If you or someone you know have debts or need support with challenging a fine, getting an extension for payments, or learning how to start a business, then financial counselling could be very useful for you. These sessions are free of charge and also involve emotional support and appropriate referrals.

  • If you’re looking for more of a practical, proactive approach to therapy, Life coaching could be a good fit. Our life coaches offer direction and guidance, based on your goals. We have life coaches from a range of different backgrounds and life circumstances (gender diverse folks, QPOC, refugees and survivors of FV). Note: We don’t provide personal training, ‘healthy eating’ or weight loss based coaching.

  • Peer support involves people with lived experience of mental health issues supporting others with similar issues. It operates on shared understanding rather than clinical expertise, providing practical, emotional, and social support to reduce isolation, stigma, and improve long-term recovery outcomes.
